A Record Each Day

The story of one family's awesome record collection.

1 note

AC “Carl” Newman’s solo album “Get Guilty,” released in 2009 on Matador Records. A nice, heavy 180 gram pressing that sounds pristine.

I reviewed the first New Pornographers album in my first semester at university, penning what I’m sure was a powerfully insightful 75-words-or-less judgement. I loved it but I really had no idea what I was experiencing at the time. History has since rendered that album a modern classic and Newman has only continued to be a consistent and gifted songwriter. Everything he does is good.
