A Record Each Day

The story of one family's awesome record collection.

This is a copy of the 2012 album “Another” by the band The Human Hearts. Released on the super-inconvenient double 10” format, the Shrimper Records release was created thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign.

The page doesn’t say how many copies Frank Bruno ended up making but he has said there wouldn’t be many extras done above and beyond the people who pledged for one. That means there are potentially as few as 109 copies in existence.

That’s a shame because this is one of the greatest packaging jobs I’ve ever seen. It’s like everything was cut out piece by piece from construction paper and glued together, elementary-school style. The records are also a heavy weight for 10”s and sound phenomenal.

I don’t know why but my thumb looks super-weird in this photo.
